We again had a wonderful short-term mission experience. Our only complaint was that our trip was too short. This was entirely our fault. We were worried about keeping it short for our kids, and were also trying to schedule in between commitments at home (one of which dissolved, so we actually could have made the mission longer). One of my small group members is a missionary who does a lot of travel, and in his blog he shares what has worked well for him --everything from water filters, power sources, cell phones, email and bibles.
